PROBLEM SOLVEDWindows 10 home edition, HP Compaq C500 (c581wm)Conexant High Definition SmartAudio HD2 Driver (for sound,video and game controller) does NOT work with windows 10!High Definition Audio Device Driver DOES WORK!This is how mine was fixed.If reinstalling the driver doesn't work, then try using the generic audio driver that comes with Windows. I can sometimes get sound on headphones, but that's iffy.I see that thos is a common problem with the upgrade.Any help would be greatly appreciated!
